Intermountain is a non-profit agency that has been impacting the lives of children and families for over 100 years and we are currently looking for a part-time to possibly full-time Substitute Teacher for our Providence Home Day Treatment Program.
At Intermountain, we believe learning should be fun and a child must be in a safe emotional place in order to learn. For many children who come to Intermountain, school has not been a rewarding experience, socially or academically. The classroom is staffed by a certified special education teacher experienced in working with students with emotional difficulties and a trained education support personnel

The Special Education Substitute Teacher assumes the lead role in, integrating and delivering group and individualized curriculum, in accordance with agency, state and federal special education rules and regulations, to children who receive services in a therapeutic treatment setting and who suffer from a variety of educational disabilities.
The Special Education Substitute Teacher is responsible for imparting their expertise to collaborative efforts with other professionals toward fulfilling the agency mission and to assuring excellence in the agency’s education program services.
Graduate from an accredited college or university with a B.S. or B.A. degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Special-Education K-12 is preferred.
Must possess and maintain a valid Montana driver’s license.
Position is part-time to possibly full-time, salary commensurate with experience.
