Job Description

GK Development is seeking a General Property Manager that will be responsible for managing, directing and coordinating operations at the Holiday Village Mall in Great Falls. The General Property Manager is accountable to protect, maintain, and enhance the value of the Holiday Village Mall in order to maximize the owners’ financial return and for the benefit of the tenants, consumers, and the community.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, connections with the community of Great Falls, and a proven track record of managing commercial/retail real estate. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing daily operations for the center, to include preparing and adhering to the annual budget, managing financial aspects such as accounts payable/receivable, payroll and control of expenses, and overseeing general property maintenance and appearance
  • Managing tenant construction activities by working with suppliers, service and construction contractors
  • Developing staff to reach their full potential and become a high-performing team in areas of leasing, marketing, customer service, maintenance, accounting, and finance
  • Establishing and maintaining excellent customer service and tenant relations within the center and assisting with leasing/marketing strategies
  • Establishing yourself in the community as a local business leader and assist in the attraction of businesses to the property

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field
  • Ten+ years general management experience in the retail, hospitality or property management industry
  • Financial management skills, including the ability to analyze P&L statements, develop operating budgets, and forecast expenditures
  • Ability to understand construction plans and specifications
  • Excellent organization skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate workload while resolving issues
  • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written skills, as well as listening skills
  • Ability to train, develop, lead and inspire a team of talented individuals
  • Effective change management and problem-solving ability plus willingness to take on a challenge
