POSITION:  Floater

LOCATION:   Work Center and Group Homes

FTE:  Full Time, 30 hours a week

HOURS:  Fri 6p-12a, Sat-Mon 4p-12a

WAGE:  $14.07/hour (plus benefits)

JOB SUMMARY: The main responsibility of this position is to work with clients with developmental disabilities. Following PSP team objectives and helping the clients learn to be as independent as possible is the goal of all staff. 

  • Responsible for the health and safety of Reach clients
  • Provides supervision and assists clients in the home or Work Center
  • Responsible for clients personal care, daily living needs, medications, meals, recreational and community activities
  • Keep clients involved in other activities when no paid work is available
  • Other duties may be assigned


  • Must be of legal age to perform the duties of the job
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities or a desire to work in the field is preferred
  • A High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required
  • Reach recognizes continuing education as a key point in self-improvement
  • Consideration will be given to applicants who have furthered their knowledge through college courses, seminars, workshops, specialized certification or other training
  • The individual must pass a background check, have a valid driver's license and be insurable under Reach Inc.'s auto insurance, maintain a good driving record, and have a reliable means of transportation
