 POSITION: Executive Director

FTE: Full Time/Exempt

HOURS: Weekdays, hours to be determined.

SUPERVISOR: Reach, Inc. Board of Directors

WAGE: Salary Commensurate with Experience

JOB SUMMARY: The Executive Director is responsible for directing and coordinating the overall management and administration of a non-profit organization supporting people with disabilities by performing the duties outlined in the job description personally or through subordinate supervisors. Other key duties include hiring and disciplinary action of all personnel, working within an approved budget, planning and implementing services provided by Reach, Inc., fundraising, marketing, and community outreach. This position reports directly to the Board of directors.

QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree (M.A.) or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required qualifications also include five years of experience in senior management of a non-profit, five years’ experience with persons with developmental disabilities, the ability to read and interpret financial statements, the ability to supervise senior management positions, success in fundraising and donor development and exceptional communication skills.  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
