POSITION: Group Home Instructor

LOCATION: Valley Creek

FTE: Full Time, 40 hours

HOURS: Mon – Fri 2p-10p, may vary, requires flexibility

SUPERVISOR: Madonna Barrett

WAGE: $16.61 per hour plus benefits, retirement plan, PTO and paid holidays

JOB SUMMARY: The Group Home Instructor manages the overall operation of the group home. This includes the health and safety of the individuals residing in the home, the treatment and training skills they receive, the furnishings, equipment and condition of the home. The instructor is responsible for ensuring compliance with corporation policies, procedures, contractual and licensing obligations including but not limited to: accreditation organizations, State of Montana Developmental Disabilities Program, Sanitation Department, State Fire Marshall, and Health and Human Services. Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be of legal age to perform the job duties. High School diploma or GED is required. Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or other human services is required. At least one year of supervisory experience is preferred. Additional education in the area of human services is preferred. Reach recognizes continuing education as a key point in self-improvement. Consideration will be given to applicants who have furthered their knowledge through college courses, seminars, workshops, specialized certifications, or other training.
