Job Description

The Digital Marketing Analyst (“Analyst”) of the Montana State University Alumni Foundation is a key member of the Communications team, responsible for informing marketing best practices through the analysis of performance metrics.  This position entails the collection, analysis, and reporting of digital performance data, troubleshooting email address data and delivery, working with team members to maintain data integrity and data segmentation, and general platform/system support.  The Analyst will assist in the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies to optimize the online user experience and increase marketing effectiveness. 

Qualified candidates will have knowledge of performance analytics to understand and translate digital communications data into actionable marketing recommendations.  Experience in the development and execution of strategies that integrate best practices in email marketing, user experience, search engine optimization, analytics tracking and reporting, copywriting for the web, social media marketing and paid ads for search and social media is preferred. 

A baccalaureate degree in a related field and 3+ years of experience is required.
