Job Description

A Positive Member Experience Branch Managers must have an in-depth understanding of how to effectively utilize all branch resources in order to deliver Legendary Member experiences. They must also foster a team culture of performance excellence with a human touch and be operationally disciplined with regard to company processes and controllable expenses. This job is accountable for supervising the branch's operational and sales functions. A manager's responsibilities include monitoring branch operations, devising and implementing sales and marketing strategies, driving outcomes to achieve all branch objectives, and championing individual Team Member engagement and growth. Final success is defined as exceeding our Members' expectations, developing our business strategically, and growing our people.

Essential Skills:

  • Advocates for and exemplifies AAA's guiding principles and basic values.
  • Recruit, train, onboard, and develop branch Team Members
  • Setting individual goals, providing comments on team performance, evaluating and documenting performance
  • Assures that each Team Member has a personalized development plan and provides mentorship to assist them in achieving their growth objectives.
  • Champion of Team Member Engagement, ensuring that all Team Members understand the connection and significance of their contribution to the business strategy.
  • Supports the development of a heart-centered performance organization through effective performance management, the establishment of clear performance and career development standards, and the early resolution of difficult performance issues with managerial courage.
  • Develops and implements a business plan that includes initiatives to support branch expansion.
  • Conducts analysis of branch reports and internal performance information in order to forecast results accurately.
  • Community Impact Champion, building a network of ties within the community and facilitating branch participation
  • Contributes comments to help enhance overall process efficiency, competitive positioning, and regional strategy.
  • Assures that AAA policies, procedures, standards, and regulations are followed.
  • Responsible for all branch resources and adherence to the branch's spending budget

Knowledge/Skills Abilities

  • Demonstrated track record of making sound business decisions, planning ahead, and resolving problems
  • Outstanding leadership abilities, mathematical and analytical abilities, and a demonstrated capacity to make data-driven decisions
  • Capacity for cross-functional collaboration across numerous corporate divisions and functions
  • Capacity to develop and implement business and financial strategy • Superior planning and project management abilities Strong change management abilities and the capacity to work in an ambiguous environment
  • Comprehensive understanding of property and casualty insurance, membership sales and service, and branch operations, including industry trends and major income drivers.
  • Excellent sales and member service abilities, as well as the capacity to convey these abilities to others
  • Computer talents that are second to none, including familiarity with the Google Apps Suite (Sheets, Docs, Drive, Slides)

Qualifications and Experience / Licensing and Certification

  • Bachelor's degree in a comparable discipline
  • P&C License with a valid driver's license ( Preferred )
  • Insurance industry experience is advantageous but not needed
  • 2-3 years Advantages of management experience

Works in an office atmosphere where extended periods of time are spent standing and walking or sitting at a desk, table, or computer workstation. Attend business meetings or conferences via vehicle, plane, or other mode of transportation. Around 50% to 80% of time spent on the work is spent on a personal computer.
