Job Description

Position Summary:

The Property Inspector Team Lead is responsible for the day-to-day preparation for guest and owner arrivals and prompt inspection of homes after guests or owners have departed. This is a supervisory position that oversees the  Property Inspector Team.

Essential Functions | Responsibilities | Duties:

  • Management of internal Property Inspection team which may include duties such as: scheduling of the team, approving timecards, motivation for team, performance reviews, and training
  • Maintaining the supplies needed thru inventory control, ordering and coordination with vendors on the delivery of linens. Coordinating the organization of the River Office Facilities so inventory is maintained, organized, and stocked
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with other teams, departments, homeowners, guests, homeowner’s associations, contractors, and vendors
  • Must maintain a high level of focus regarding scheduling and executing the preparation of properties for guest and homeowner arrivals, including during periods with a significant volume of same-day home turnovers
  • Positively represent BSVR to property owners, guests, contractors, community, and business leaders
  • Manages safety policy compliance, injury prevention and risks and reports any incident, or work comp issue promptly
  • Complete all other duties and responsibilities as assigned

  • Knowledgeable of the Hospitality industry and high-end customer markets

Experience | Education:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; higher education preferred
  • Two or more years of property management, hospitality, or vacation rental experience
  • Minimum of two years’ experience managing a team or department of people
  • Combination of education and experience may be considered

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those Essential Job Functions and must be met by an employee for successful performance 

  • Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in variable weather conditions and extreme temperatures
  • Must be able to work in a moderately noisy environment 
  • Must be able to listen, hear and talk in the English language
  • This position is very active and requires employees to be in excellent physical condition and able to work in high altitude settings
  • Regularly required to walk, stand, kneel, stoop, crouch, reach, lift, carry, push, pull and go up & down stairs 
  • Occasionally required to climb, balance, and shovel
  • Vision abilities are required for driving company vehicles which include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Must be able to frequently lift a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds with the assistance of another team member or mechanical assistance (such as a hand cart, etc.)
